Koena Mitra celebrated her birthday recently with friends who surprised her. I mean, literally. She was surprised that people actually remembered her birthday (no age mentioned here). They got her lots of flowers and lit her room and life up with lovely candles. They even knew which flower she liked the most; red carnations. And of course her family kept calling all day, as they couldn’t come down from Kolkatta. And the next day she also had a hawan, which she follows religiously every year on her birthday. All in all, it was a lovely day with friends and she is a happy girl.
One would stop to think, though, that it’s odd she should say she was surprised they remembered her birthday. It points out that she usually does not hang out with anyone and is usually ignored by her friends. Could be the other way around as well, but more likely the first one. From being a reputed model to being an almost-out-of-work item number; not many would wish to stick around with. Come to think of it, what has this babe done other than dance around film goons? Hardly anything noticeable. So this birthday cake, let’s hope she spelled out her wish very clearly while blowing off the candles. She would have had enough time to blow all of them off (we still don’t know her age).
